Harvard Votes Challenge

A friend of mine, named Michelle Zhang, who runs Harvard Votes Challenge, reached out to me to direct, film, and edit a promo video before the 2020 presidential election. We brainstormed and came up with the idea together. The whole video was shot right in front of the State House in downtown Boston. Yuri Grace Ohashi choreographed the dance for her and Noah Ramos. Since we had to get the audio on the same day, we climbed into my car that was parked on the street, to try to get the quietest audio possible. Samyra Miller was nice enough to record and produce a new version of “Get Ur Freak On” called “Get Ur Vote On”.
